To start my research I looked at different actors and the different characters they play in films. I wanted to look into their hair and makeup design to see how it was changed to create the individual look for that specific character. This has helped me look at what aspects to consider when creating a character. 

I started by looking at the man of many faces Johnny Depp. It's inspiring how unique each of his characters look and a large part of that is due to the design of the hair and makeup. With the majority of the characters he plays I don't look at them and think thats Johnny Depp playing Captain Jack Sparrow I just see the Character Captain Jack Sparrow.
